Bell Integrator has Completed the Implementation of Symantec DLP in Georgia-based Mobitel
The project's key task is to ensure protection against leakages of confidential information that is ensured by building special parameters into the system. The implementation of the project enabled application of technologies for tracking and controlling confidential traffic, including attempts to output information to flash memories, external email addresses and other leakage channels.
Pyotr Zharkov, Head of Projects Development, Bell Integrator:This solution is of interest not only for security administrators, but also for the company's security service as a whole. Usually, if there are no such systems, leakages are practically unidentifiable, while the sizes of such leakages are impossible to determine. Without a tool like this, it is also impossible to identify the site of information leakage or the perpetrator within the company or rapidly submit a request to government agencies (for instance, to launch investigation, etc.). In addition to tracing leakages, the system contains a module for monitoring Internet pagers (ICQ and similar systems, Skype, etc.)
In late November, Bell Integrator and Mobitel jointly conducted training for users and adopted the solution for commercial operations.
The DLP implementation project also covers Kazakhstan, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan.
